Public profiles and creator offers

Full creator profiles and portfolios are publicly available to all visitors, including guests. To hire a creator through the website, a brand must sign in, review and send its offer there. Brands can send a brief, budget, requested delivery date and proposed content usage through their account. Creators can accept or decline, and brands can withdraw pending offers. Acceptance confirms interest and shares both participants’ account emails; it is not a charge or payment and does not replace agreement on final terms before work begins. Any website booking and payment steps remain subject to the applicable offer and disclosures shown on the website.

Small Spotlight's free, read-only ChatGPT integration provides public creator discovery and informational viewing of public creator profiles through the search_creators and get_creator_profile tools, with ordinary informational links to public creator pages only. It does not initiate hiring forms or offer handoffs, submit requests, provide booking or pricing/purchase flows, or link accounts. Private account email addresses, credentials and inboxes are not provided through the integration. OpenAI and ChatGPT are separate services governed by their own terms and privacy policies; prompts and tool results are handled by OpenAI/ChatGPT under those terms and policies. Do not provide Small Spotlight credentials or payment secrets in chat.

The paid sourcing and list-delivery terms below apply to those separate services.

1. Description of Service

Small Spotlight provides a creator directory and—where available—private marketplace bookings. Full public creator profiles are available to all visitors, including guests. We:

• Help brands discover micro and nano creators based on their campaign needs
• Provide creator profiles, public social details, and campaign planning tools
• Provide a private booking workroom with disclosed fees and payment processing when both parties choose to use that feature

We do not:

• Manage influencer campaigns
• Negotiate contracts on your behalf
• Set campaign terms or negotiate on either party's behalf
• Guarantee campaign results or performance

2. Client Responsibilities

You agree that:

• All information you provide is accurate and complete
• You will communicate directly with creators after delivery
• You are responsible for your campaign terms, agreements, and outcomes involving creators; private booking payment processing is governed by the accepted offer and disclosed checkout terms

Small Spotlight is not a party to any agreement between you and a creator.

3. Accounts and Profile Access

• Full public creator profiles and portfolios are available to guests; profile access does not require a subscription or profile-access payment
• A brand account is required to use website account features, including reviewing and sending creator offers
• Creator email addresses remain private and are not displayed on public profiles

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for ensuring that account information remains accurate.

4. Pricing & Payments

• Brand account creation and creator-profile access are free; Small Spotlight does not charge a subscription fee for profile access
• Private booking payment terms are shown in the workroom and at checkout before payment is made
• A private booking includes the agreed work amount and a transparent 10% brand service fee
• A 20% creator platform fee is applied to the agreed work amount and the creator's expected earnings are shown before acceptance
• All prices are listed in USD unless stated otherwise

5. Booking Refunds

Booking cancellations and refunds are governed by the accepted offer and the booking workroom. A brand may cancel an accepted booking before funding.

After funding, a brand may approve delivery, request a revision, or open a dispute through the workroom. Where a refund is approved, the disclosed brand service fee is refunded proportionally and creator release is calculated from the recorded fee terms.

Refunds are not guaranteed solely because a party changes its mind or a campaign does not achieve a particular result.

To request a review of a booking issue, use the workroom or contact us promptly with the booking details.

Small Spotlight may pause payment release while a dispute is reviewed.

Marketplace Bookings

Where the private booking feature is available, a brand and creator negotiate the versioned offer shown in their workroom. A brand may cancel before funding. The agreed work amount has a 10% brand service fee and a 20% creator platform fee; the workroom shows the creator earnings and checkout total before acceptance and payment.

A booking payment is collected after acceptance and is not a representation that Small Spotlight provides escrow, guarantees delivery, or guarantees campaign results. Creator payout is initiated after approval (or the applicable automatic-review period), subject to connected-account eligibility and payment processing.

Disputes pause release while reviewed. Any buyer refund includes a proportional refund of the disclosed brand service fee; an administrator shows the exact refund and creator-release split before confirming a resolution.

6. No Guarantees or Performance Claims

While we carefully source creators, we do not guarantee:

• Sales, conversions, or ROI
• Creator performance or audience response
• That creators will agree to future collaborations

Influencer marketing results vary and depend on many factors outside our control.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Small Spotlight website — including text, branding, logos, and design — is owned by Small Spotlight and may not be copied or used without permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Small Spotlight shall not be liable for:

• Lost profits or revenue
• Campaign performance outcomes
• Creator behavior, conduct, or disputes

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Small Spotlight harmless from any claims, damages, or disputes arising from:

• Your use of the service
• Your interactions or agreements with creators

10. Termination

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service if:

• Fraud or abuse is suspected
• These Terms are violated

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Small Spotlight operates.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
